Gucci Mane Bangin’

I’m sure you all know by now that Gucci Mane dropped The State vs. Radric Davis last month. I just wanted to put my stamp of approval on it and say I’ve been killing this one all week. Stupid Wild is the banger on here and it’s getting some play tomorrow night. Incidentally, if any of you are downtown Toronto this Saturday evening come through 751, Queen Street West. I’ll be playing hip hop jams (90’s till now) all night, cheap brews and loose morality.

Obviously I had to …read more

Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary Party

Last night Hip Hop Roll was at the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary Party in Toronto. A slew of the cities finest packed into the Red Bull Gallery on Queen Street to celebrate The Pump. Reebok pulled out all stops staging the turntable stylings of Kid Koala and the Chocolate Boy Wonder himself Pete Rock.
