Ace Hood caught my attention a few weeks ago with his new music video “Champion” which features Rick Ross and Jazmine Sullivan. Not because the music is great (which it is) or that the video is great (which it also is), but that one of the guys in the video is wearing a Montreal Expos cap.

Inspired by Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross decided to film the music video for All I Really Want in Medellín city. I guess he was looking for something more exotic than the usual New York and Los Angeles. The album Deeper Than Rap is available in stores now. The song All I Really Want features The Dream.

Ouch! Rick Ross’s new album Deeper Than Rap came out in stores yesterday. And one of the featured songs on the album is ‘In Cold Blood,’ a song describing how he killed 50 Cent. That’s not likely.

This ongoing feud between the two thug rappers is ridiculous only because it is so one sided. No one will can convince me that Rick Ross is a bigger thug than 50 Cent. I mean they don’t get much thugger than Fifty.

Rick Ross travelled to Medellin, Colombia to shoot the music video ‘All I Really Want’ from his new Deeper Than Rap album, out in stores April 21st, 2009.

Ross admitted that the inspiration to shoot a music video in a foreign location came from Snoop Dogg’s ‘Beautiful’ video that was shot in Brazil. Rick Ross said that there are beautiful women all over Latin America and that to film in Colombia was a honour for him.

The video is the story of a young man who’s life turns to crime after the seemingly calculated murder of his older brother. The film was created by Rik Cordero with executive producer Rick Ross.

Rick Ross’s latest album Deeper Than Rap was supposed to be released March 24.  Complications however, have caused Ross to release the album under his own production company Maybeach Music Group. The album now will launch April 21, 2009.

The first single Magnificent has already been released and can be purchased for $0.99 at out aStore.
Along with Rick Ross’s third album he has also made a short film by the same name being released soon.
