There have been a slew of artists recruited to perform in a celebration of Def Jam at the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors. The show is scheduled for October 13th and a portion of the show will be dedicated towards honoring Def Jam Record who are celebrating their 25th year in business.
Tracy Morgan will be the host of this year’s VH1 Awards and will be aided by other funny men like Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon. Musical performers for the night will include songs by Eminem, The Roots, Method Man, Mary J. Blige, Kid Rock, Young Jeezy and Public …read more

It was every Hip-Hop fans wet dream at the Grammy’s last night. The very knocked-up Mia performed her song “Swagger Like Us” with T.I., Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye West. Watch it below.

The long awaited “Notorious” premiered for a select few at the AMC Lincoln Square, New York, NY. Sean Combs was there to pay respect to his mentor as well as flood of other hip-hop heavy hitters – Beyonce, Jadakiss, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, etc… too many to list!
