Jadakiss sat down with ShockHound TV to talk about his latest album ‘The Last Kiss’ available in stores today.

In the interview said that he produced his album with his own record company (a must if you want to make a non commercial sound). He said that his hopes were to be able to draw a younger audience who could appreciate the older sounding hip-hop over the ‘ring tone’ sound coming from Soulja Boy. Was that a poke at Soulja Boy? Well listen in and tell me.

Jadakiss will be adding a last minute song to his upcoming album “The Last Kiss.” The song, “Smoking Gun,” will feature new and upcoming artist Jazmine Sullivan.

Jadakiss told reporters that he didn’t want to knock Chris Brown but felt that he had to get a word out to all of his female fans. Though the song doesn’t deal with physical abuse per se, it does talk about other forms of abuse that are becoming more and more common.
The album The Last Kiss will be out in stores April 7, 2009.

Jadakiss may have got himself into a bit of trouble with the lyrics of “Why?” from his last album “Kiss of Death,” but that hasn’t stopped him from making The Last Kiss due in stores March 10th, 2009.

Will this be his last and final solo album? I wonder if there will be any controversy in these songs?

The long awaited “Notorious” premiered for a select few at the AMC Lincoln Square, New York, NY. Sean Combs was there to pay respect to his mentor as well as flood of other hip-hop heavy hitters – Beyonce, Jadakiss, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, etc… too many to list!
