Most likely scheduled on purpose, Thank Me Later, the latest and first studio produced album by Drake will drop in stores on Valentine’s Day 2010 (February 14th, 2010). The first confirmed track so far is “Shut It Down” which will be featuring The Dream. When asked about the album, Drake told reporters that “it’s sexy. It’s slow, but there’s an energy to it. I rap on it. Me and Dream both sing on it. It’s cool.”
Drake has been a seemingly over-night success for the rap community. After being mentored by Lil Wayne things really got going. Drake has been an …read more

Russ Castella Remix – Drake “Forever”
September 24, 2009 by Jyle
Russ Castella from Bliss Entertainment made a great remix of Drake’s new music video for Forever. As you all know the song features Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem. But in record producer Russ Castella’s remix version he cuts out Kanye West’s verse calling it “the worst verse of all time.” Damn, no one is going to let that incident slide.
Check out the video after the jump and let me know what you think.

The reasons for the canceled shows are unknown but they have said that they were out of their control.
Many fans were disappointed to hear the news. For hip-hop fans the concert was more than just Lil Wayne, it was supposed to open with Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Drake and Jeremih. Drake was especially excited for finishing his Canadian tour …read more

Drake Falls While On Stage During Young Money Tour
August 3, 2009 by Jyle
I guess that night wasn’t the best Drake has ever had. Apparently, the rapper was touring with Lil Wayne and Ne-Yo for the Young Money Tour, when he collapsed from pain on-stage. He was doing a duet with Weezy for his song “Best I Ever Had” when he supposedly tried doing a spin and ended up twisting his already injured knee, causing to fall in pain.
Miss Info reports of the incidence, "He put his head down because he was in so much pain and then 4 guys ran out on the stage and had to carry him off."

Not sure what to make of this new music video by Drake called “Best I Ever Had.” The rap is alright but the music video is strange. It chronicles Team Drake, an all girl high school basketball team.
Love it or hate it? Let me know what you all think.

Hip-Hop Dream Team Hookin’ Up For Summer Tour
June 5, 2009 by Jyle
The dream team of hip-hop will be meeting up this summer to do a state-wide tour. Lil Wayne has confirmed that he will be joining Soulja Boy Tell’em, Young Jeezy and Drake for the tour. Jay-Z has also said that he will be joining the rat pack but not until partway through because of scheduling issues.
The busiest rappers in the business seem to be gun-ho on being able to tour together. I’d hate to manage the hotels those guys will be staying at. No matter though cause they will put on one hell of a show.
