Ace Hood caught my attention a few weeks ago with his new music video “Champion” which features Rick Ross and Jazmine Sullivan. Not because the music is great (which it is) or that the video is great (which it also is), but that one of the guys in the video is wearing a Montreal Expos cap.
This was cool for me because I grew up in Montreal and they were my baseball team before they were sold off a few years ago. Why he is wearing that hat is a mystery to me but it caught my attention all the same.

Ace Hood might be young but he’s making his way through the hip-hop scene and he’s getting a little help from Rick Ross, Jazmine Sullivan, Akon and more.
This Florida native is releasing his first album Ruthless on June 30, 2009. His released single “Champion” tells the tale of an aspiring rapper making his way out of the projects. Check out the Champion music video.
