Stevie Wonder Pays Tribute To Michael Jackson

July 7, 2009 by Jyle

Stevie Wonder gave perhaps the most heartwarming performance at the Michael Jackson’s memorial. An event that filled up the Staples Center in Los Angeles, millions watched the event unfold live on TV.

Stevie sang “Never Dreamed You’d Leave In Summer” at the memorial service held on July 7th, 2009. Perhaps the most appropriate song of the night, it helped bring the attention completely to Michael Jackson.

Allaahumma in kaana muhsinan fa zid fi ihsaanihi wa in kaana musee’an fa tajaawaz ‘an sayi’aatihi. Allaahumma ighfir lahu wa thabbit-hu bi’l-qawl il-thaabit.

  1. Although Michael has been out of the public eye for quite a while, this is still hard news to take. I cannot say that I am or have been the greatest MJ fan (I was too young when he rocked) but I definitely have a great respect for him as an artist. I am very sorry he passed, he isn’t replaceable.
