Perez Hilton Assaulted By will.i.am in Toronto?

Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, was allegedly assaulted by Black Eyed Peas front man, Will.i.am, while they were both in Toronto during the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards over the weekend.  The altercation is said to have taken place at a nightclub in the area where Perez says the rapper and his security guys attacked him.

While Perez has filed a police report, Will.i.am is denying the assault took place although he does admit that they got into an argument at an after party.  Of course, Perez documented the whole thing on Twitter (he claims he did it because the police weren’t showing up).  Check out these updates:

• I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.
• I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.
• Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.
• I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here.
• The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them.

As if that wasn’t enough, Perez had to release a video about the whole thing.

Of course, Will.i.am has released a rebuttal video and created his own Twitter account just to address the rumors.

What do you think really happened?  I think this is really too bad because the Peas are having a lot of success with their new singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling.”  I don’t know who I believe.  Do you think Will.i.am really assaulted Perez?
