This song is off of a mixtape with Stack$ and DJ Smallz called “Smoke & Mirrors“. The track is called “Brainwashed” and it displays anger toward the media. I think the lyrics to the song are good. Check out this song! It’s called “Long Night” by Nelly featuring Usher. The track is off of Nelly’s album “Brass Knuckles” which should be released on August 15. This song definitely has an interesting beat and is different from most hip hop songs. His song with Fergie, called “Party People” is also off of the same album.

Mary J. Blige showed off her pipes at the 2008 Essence Music Festival on July 6th at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Now, I think this is an example of someone wearing all white and pulling it off. When Keyshia Cole wore all white, I thought she looked like a pillow case.

Keyshia Cole performed at 2008 Essence Music Festival in the Louisiana Superdome on July 6, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana. I definitely was not feeling what Keyshia was wearing. Rihanna performed at the 2008 Essence Music Festival on the 4th of July at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans and she looked good! She wore a lacy black dress and was photographed having fun and shaking her booty. Rumored love interest, Chris Brown also performed at the event.

This song is called “Last Time” by Trey Songz. It peaked at the #9 spot on Billboard’s top ten hip hop and R&B singles chart and peaked at #69 in the Hot 100 chart. The song is about having an affair, with a woman other than his girlfriend, for the last time. Check out the video and tell me what you think.
This song was ranked # 23 on Rolling Stones list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007. Alicia Keys wrote this hit “Teenage Love Affair” along with Jack Splash, Matthew Kahane, and Harold Lilly.
The video was filmed at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and is just as cute as the song. It’s based on the 1988 film, “School Daze“, starring Laurence Fishburne. What do you guys think of the song and video?
This has got to be Chris Brown’s most risque and controversial songs. The lyrics are very sexual and suggestive and, apparently, people love it! Especially the ladies I’m sure. That why it was on Billboard’s top ten hip hop and R&B singles for the week.
Although, the song is sexual, the video is even more “in your face” because, as you will see, Chris is shown gyrating and humping on the stage. The video was shot on his Up Close and Personal Tour.
Here is the video for “I Luv Your Girl” by The Dream which has made it on to Billboard’s top 10 hip hop and R&B singles charts. The track is off of The Dream’s album, “Love/Hate” which set for release on December 11. It’s got good lyrics and an okay beat. The part in the video where he’s got the green lights in the back, reminded me a bit of the video for Usher’s “Yeah“. Overall, I didn’t think the video was great but it was okay.
