Lil’ Wayne Sells Over a Million Copies of "Tha Carter III

Lil’ Wayne, who’s song, “Lollipop“, has peaked at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, sold over a million copies of his newest album “Tha Carter III” in it’s first week! He beat out Mariah Carey’s album, E=MC², who had record breaking numbers earlier this year. The year 2005 was the last time an artist sold over a million copies in it’s first week, and that was none other than 50 Cent when he released his album, “The Massacre“.

Congratulations to Lil’ Wayne! I think we all knew his album would do great. He’s a wonderful artist and I think it’s hard to find a song of his that I dislike.
