Kool G Rap’s Comeback in September
One of the best to ever live, Kool G Rap is poised for a comeback. Recently making a few appearances here and their, most notably on The Roots’ last LP, G Rap has inked a deal with Latchkey Recordings and Chinga Changa Records to release Half A Klip in September.
Not the greatest of deals since labels like Def Jam are still finding their footing with hiphop releases. The deal went through more than a year ago, and things are only now seeing the light of day. That isn’t a good sign.
I honestly hope this one comes through. The first single will be What’s More Realer Than That, produced by Marks, with DJ Premier laying some beats on the LP too.

Kool G’s style is the foundation of so many other atisits that are rockin today! In fact there are very, very few, who can even hang with him lyrically. I don’t think there is a rapper alive that will willfully battle him, unless they just wanted to see how long they would last.
