Whats going on Carlito Rossi?

Coolin fam, just been busy grinding on the side with different things.

Cool, can you explain to all the fans on your hiatus away from the game?

Well you know I just been focusing on a lot of side hustles and things like that. I never quit rap, I basically just took a lil vacation and now I am back and ready to get things poppin again.

Some people argue that you never received the credit you deserve or that you are one of those up & coming artists that should have blown up already, what do you have to say about that?

Well, being in this business ain’t easy. It’s all about opportunities and taking advantage of them when they come by. I have been blessed with great opportunities to work with major artists and I’m unsigned. You have to be patient and wait for that one opportunity that can take your career to the next level. I have a lot of major artists calling me now so it’s only a matter of time as far as a big opportunity coming along and bring me to the top. We just gotta wait and see.

Is it really true that DJ Khaled & DJ Enuff is co-signing your independent album Carlito’s Way – The LP?

Oh yea definitely. Carlito’s Way The LP is co-signed and hosted by DJ Enuff, DJ Khaled, Nu Jerzey Devil & DJ Vlad.

Now for an artist to get so many co-signs don’t you think that one of those DJ’s should have tooken you under the wing by now?

I see what you saying but me..I never been the type to ride anyone. Some people get connected to some of these DJ’s and they don’t leave them alone. They keep beastin them and riding them. A lot of people say that I should stop being like that and try to build stronger relationships with some of these dudes but I feel like If they really wanted to make things happen they would have hollered by now. I mean for them to co-sign  is good enough for me and if bigger things happen in the future then so be it. So I just take it for what it is and respect the situation. I don’t really like depending on people so I do me and keep it moving. At the same time I do remain thankful for the opportunities that they have brought to me. I feel like you should never force a relationship and let it develop naturally.

You are an unsigned artist who has done multiple songs with major artists.  Did you have to reach out to these major artists for these collabos or did they reach out to you?

Well it’s a little bit of both. I mean it’s a small industry so mostly everybody knows each other most of the time it happens when you least expect it. I wanna give a big shout out to Media Starr Promotions and John Carter for making some good things happen for me.

So what can people expect from you as far as releasing anything?

Get ready for my independent album which is long overdue Carlito’s Way – The LP.

Any shout out or last words?

Big ups to Media Starr Promotions, Bloody Chuck, Hood Stardom, Q the Question, Music on Play, Da Shady Spot, Kosova, Cashis, Rikanatti, D12, Rico, Khaled, Enuff, Vlad, NJD, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, big ups to all the websites and bloggers that support the Carlito Rossi movement.
