Foxy Brown – Knocked Up and Locked Up

August 23, 2007 by Jyle

foxy brownDrama, drama, drama… Foxy Brown is in trouble again. Oh, I know. I was shocked too! Anyway, apparently Foxy has violated the terms of her probation by hitting a woman with her BlackBerry. Are you serious? Moving on… when she appeared in court, Foxy, whose real name is Inga Marchand told the judge that she was three months pregnant! Hey – if pregnancy didn’t save Nicole Richie from jail time, it sure wasn’t going to save Foxy Brown. Here’s part of an article on the story:

Judge Melissa Jackson ordered Brown held in jail until her next hearing on September 7, at which time the judge could sentence her to up to a year in prison, said Jack Ryan, a spokesman for the New York City probation department.

Last October, the hip-hop artist was sentenced to three years probation and anger management classes for assaulting two nail salon stylists over a $20 manicure. Brown had argued self-defense.

Jackson handled Brown’s case last year, when she also ordered Brown to undergo periodic drug testing, stay away from the manicurists for five years and get the court’s approval before traveling.

Jackson found on Wednesday that Brown traveled without the court’s permission and skipped anger management class.

Brown got into trouble again earlier this month when she was accused of bruising the eye and chipping the tooth of a Brooklyn woman with her Blackberry. She was freed on $5,000 bail.

Brown’s 1999 album “Chyna Doll” opened at the top of the Billboard 200, the U.S. pop chart encompassing all styles of music, becoming the first female rap artist to achieve that feat.

Haha! I laughed at the title of this article! Foxy needs to calm down.

It’s called “Anger Management.” Prison isn’t going to stop that temper.
