DMX Looses $1.5 Million Over Rape Case
This one’s messed up. Rapper DMX was sued January 11, 2008 for $1.5 Miliion dollars of a case of rape and defamation of character.
DMX found himself in a bit of hot water after telling Sister2Sister Magazine that he was raped by Monique Wayne who at the time was pregnant with DMX’s child. I guess Wayne didn’t like that comment so she sued him over a defamation of character suite.
DMX said: "She raped me," DMX claimed. "DNA says it is (my child). I don’t know. If I did (have sex with her) I would remember. It ain’t like she’s a pretty girl."
The tragic part about all of this was that Wayne won by default because DMX failed to show up to defend himself. I guess he figured the case wasn’t worth his time.
DMX reps haven’t commented on all of this so no one really knows if he got stuck in traffic or what. Hey, it could happen.
The moral of the story is… Ah shit, this could happen to anyone.

Guys can be rapped too I guess? I mean isn’t it a double standard to say that for women it’s called rape but for men it’s seduced? Not that I’m defending DMX, but $1.5 Million is a bit much.
