Diddy’s “Unforgivable Woman” Fragrance Ad Too Hot For TV?
It seems to be. The channel that produced “Superbad” (MTV) seems to think that Diddy’s new commercial for “Unforgivable Woman” is too racy.
The spot shows Combs “going at it” with Jessica Gomez in a stairwell and a hotel room. But after MTV screened the ads, execs sent a list of edits Combs will need to make before censors will allow it to air. The offending footage includes Diddy “hiking up” Gomez’s skirt, putting his hands under her dress, and a scene with another woman holding Gomez’s breast and pulling down her underwear. Combs is refusing so far to edit his commercial. Last year, the print ads for Unforgivable were too hot for city bus stops. - NYPost
Finding the commercial was not easy, but I did manage to find a page that linked to it.
Thanx NYPost

“another woman holding Gomez’s breast…”
I didn’t see that - I saw Gomez holding her own, and tugging on her own underwear (and not revealing a single thing except some hip that was already showing anyway). There was no “other woman” in the clip at all.
How is this commercial any different than the crap that’s played on MTV in videos now anyway?
I think MTV needs to get a grip…

I think there is a longer unedited version, I just can’t find it. It’s like MTV is censoring the world from this ‘atrocious’ ad.

I still see nothing wrong with the long version. It’s not like a scene from Basic Instinct or anything like that… I dunno. I think it’s kind of funny how MTV is getting all huffed about this, given the nature of some of the videos they air without issue.

And still… I saw no “other woman” anywhere.

Lara, give me a break. He looks like he is attacking that girl. Its shameful.

Attacking?!? Are you serious?
There’s very little “motion” in anything, it’s all mainly poses. In some he’s hugging her, others yes, he’s got his hand up her skirt.
I don’t see her fighting it though - how can you call it attacking?
Personally, I think songs and videos that say things like “smack that ass” and “put it in your mouth” and “bitches, ho’s, and sluts” are much more easily deemed “offensive” than this commercial.
Yes, it looks like they met at a club, they started to get heated up in the stairwell, and went to a hotel and got it on. There was no “pumping” or “grinding” or anything to visually confirm that’s what happened, but it’s left up to the viewer’s imagination based on what it is showing.
They show more “attacking” and sexual activity in Law and Order for crying out loud…

Combs, should be ashame of himself. Why wont he edit that crap. Why does he have to make stuff like that, cause he can. Does it take all that to sell perfume??
