Clipse Prepare We Got It 4 Cheap: Vol. 3

After a month touring in Europe, Virginia’s The Clipse are back in the studio prepping the third installment of their We Got It 4 Cheap mixtapes. Pusha T and Malice will again team up with the rest of their Re-Up Gang to finish up this release and get it on the streets.
“We’re right in the final stages,” Pusha T told MTV. “The only thing that slowed us up is the road. This [past] album [2006’s Hell Hath No Fury] was definitely our baby. So what was lacking in major promotion or whatever, we wanted to cover that in the streets, we wanted to cover that in our show. Get in the nooks and crannies of everything. If we not touching the masses, we really wanted to touch our fans. So we really dedicated ourselves to touring.”
Not only that, but the pair of keen to put out a follow up to last year’s Hell Hath No Fury, and have already begun work with Pharrell and The Neptunes.
“We trying to find another direction,” Push said. “[We’ll] go down there and play with the sounds, honestly. We had a long talk, me and P, a couple weeks ago. And we just decided we’re gonna lock it with the go-to beats and try to find something new. This next album, we’re really, really trying to take it there. Like creatively, just take it … there and totally reinvent East Coast, fly, drug dealer, club music. I want people to be able to bop to my sh– as well as spin my sh–.”
“I would want to drop the single in ‘07 sometime, but that’s just in a perfect world.”

I went to the show in SF sometime during Sept, and they were still talking about putting Vol. 3 out. Maaaaaan, where is it at?
And, honestly, the show was wack. It wasn’t the Clipse; it was that there were only 10 Clipse fans in the whole joint. People just standing around, not getting live. Maaaaan, when “Ride Around Shinin’” comes on…..put your f-ing hands in the air.
On thing Clipse: let the Gang do some more joints. “Know My Style”, “The Corner”, “Daytona 500″…..do I gotta list more? Y’all hot, but Re-Up is smokin’. (The homie Ab-Liva is the truth: I see it, I cop, I drop, I chrome it, I shell it, I unveil it…)

Don’t be sayin clipse’s show is whack.
The entire R-E-U-P gang is incredibly unbelievable, that’s a positive connotation as they’re lyrical geniuses.
man i cant believe my ears when I hear’em.
I rather listen 10 years to got it for cheap intro then give in 1 second to the childish stereotypical image commercial artists nowadays portray of what rap is about. Clipse, re-up, star trak, pharrell chad all them alien musicians is actually creating a new dimension to hiphop I can only be proud of and be grateful for the rest of my life. My babies will listen to this music/
if hiphop was dead, then hiphop now is revived.
Peace to the entire Re-up gang can’t wait till more music will drop I’ll definitely go nuts and make other people hear it till they get sick of it. Then I’ll feed it to them again.
This is a true testimony of human creativity regarding the aspect of lyrical excellence poured into some of the sickest pharrell beats travelling throughout the space continuum. wish i was intergalactic so i could chase every note throughout the galaxy till I meet God in the forever and ever and ever ever.
