CBS Ducks Charges From FCC For Janet Jackson Flash

served by picapp.com
The United States Court of Appeals have just thrown the Janet Jackson flash “incident” case out. The argument was that Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake were both contractors for CBS and not employees. The judge also stated that the FCC cannot fine the cable or satellite broadcast companies. So essentially out of all of the fighting, CBS only has to pay the individual fines of $27,500 for each of their 20 stations who had broadcast the Superbowl. That’s just $550,000. Not allot considering the millions upon millions the FCC were threatening to fine for the “indecent act.”
Lighten up America - It was just a little titty.

holy crap..this is still going on? Hasn’t it been like 5 years or something? $550,000? They probably spent 5 times that on lawyers if not more. With all the violence on tv, and the crime shows that show more gore than most horror movies I don’t think that a 2 second flash of a pierced nipple is that big of a deal…and most people didn’t even know it was her boob.
