50 Cent was rushed to the hospital yesterday after being poisoned by the lyrics and rap of Fat Joe’s new album Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 (J.O.S.E. 2). He’ll recover but Fat Joe’s career is said to be dead.

Jayceon Terrell Taylor, otherwise known as The Game and his crew are being investigated by the Liverpool, UK police after a 21 year old fan was attacked on stage. The incident took place during a concert when the young man jumped onto the stage while a friend tried to snap a photo of him next to The Game. The man was the struck in the face by a member of The Game’s crew which allegedly caused a fragmented cheek bone and slight cuts.

A Raleig, North Carolina rapper and fan of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team is being sued for using their name for use in his tribute song.
Tyrone Banks wrote a popular song that has become somewhat of a local sensation for the Carolina Hurricanes and has become the unofficial song for the team. Banks granted the Hurricanes permission to use his song at games and have in exchange offered Banks free tickets to the game and publicity.

Nick Cannon just doesn’t seem to know when he’s been defeated. After being blasted by Eminem in his song “The Warning” Cannon decided to tell the world on his Twitter account that only god will judge him. He then goes on stage of the show he hosts “America’s Got Talent” (should be called America’s biggest fools), and tells everyone that Mariah Carey’s single “Obsessed” is about him and his obsession for his wife (lame). The song as everyone knows is about Eminem and her obsession for him.

Man Eminem is getting soft. These day’s he’s giving people a warning to leave him alone. Granted the song was more of a jab at Mariah Carey and the lyrics are very rude. I can’t wait to hear what Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are going to do next. Nick promised to ruin Eminem’s career if he didn’t leave his wife alone. Not exactly sure how he intends on doing that.

We all know that the two have not exactly been on speaking terms since their breakup a few months ago. Kelis claimed that she was reliant on Nas’ money and needed some to help maintain the lifestyle she’s become accustomed to. Chris Brown has issued an official apology for attacking his former girlfriend, Rihanna, at a Grammy Party last February.  I have to say that it takes a lot of courage to admit that you have made such a huge mistake and I think that taking full responsibility for the assault is the first step towards not only repairing his relationship with his fans but also mastering his anger issues.  I hope that he truly is getting the help that he needs so that this never happens again.

The Perez Hilton and will.i.am altercation was caught on tape by someone with a camera phone (handy little things aren’t they). It happened at the Much Music Awards after party in Toronto. 

In the video you can clearly hear Hilton egging will.i.am on by calling him a “f**kin f*ggot”. Not sure what that’s about since Perez is the only openly gay guy there.
There is still no proof that will.i.am threw any sort of punch though it is clear that he did seek out Perez to confront him on some hurtful comments.

The sentencing of Chris Brown happened today. Rihanna was prepared to testify against Chris Brown if called upon, but his guilty plea sealed the deal. It was unsure if he would but because he did it seems that he will not have to serve any time in prison.

The verdict as deemed by the judge was 180 days of hard labor, travel restrictions, restraining no contact orders, and all the other perks associated with becoming a felon. Like not being allowed to own a gun, subject to searches without a warrant, etc…

Not sure what this is all about but Nas apparently is refusing to give Kelis access to any of the money. Despite being nine months pregnant and claiming to have no money Kelis has decided to sue for what she believes she is owed.

In the claim that she has filed with her lawyers, she wants $20,000 for strollers, cribs, and other baby supplies, $3,500 for a nurse and a spousal salary that allows her to live the life she has become accustomed to. That’s not too much to ask is it?
