Hope For Haiti Update

The Hope For Haiti Telethon featuring Jay-Z, Wyclef Jean, Rihanna and others aired on January 22nd on most major broadcast networks. The totals are in and the event is said to have raised over $61 million in relief efforts. Check out the clip below.

10 Years of FSAS and The Big Snoop Dogg’s 10th solo album. It’s all going down quite officially as the Famous Stars and Straps x Snoop Dogg Decade Event. The flier boasts performances by Travis Barker and The D-O-double-G himself, sets by Diplo and DJ Spider, art exhibit and classic car show. Last night Hip Hop Roll was at the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary Party in Toronto. A slew of the cities finest packed into the Red Bull Gallery on Queen Street to celebrate The Pump. Reebok pulled out all stops staging the turntable stylings of Kid Koala and the Chocolate Boy Wonder himself Pete Rock.

In ‘97 I was 12. I remember getting a drive home after basketball practice by a friends older bro. He was listening to Wu-Tang Forever and like magic my music training wheels fell off and I was the fastest transformed Wu-Tang fan. I’m going to take you down memory lane, to some classic tracks and one classic babe: Mya. Although she’s still kickin’ it I first got up on her steez in the late ’90s when Ghetto Superstar featuring ODB and Pras came out. This track was everywhere and it was hard to find someone who didn’t know the song inside out.
