The Hope For Haiti Telethon featuring Jay-Z, Wyclef Jean, Rihanna and others aired on January 22nd on most major broadcast networks. The totals are in and the event is said to have raised over $61 million in relief efforts. Check out the clip below.

Last night Hip Hop Roll was at the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary Party in Toronto. A slew of the cities finest packed into the Red Bull Gallery on Queen Street to celebrate The Pump. Reebok pulled out all stops staging the turntable stylings of Kid Koala and the Chocolate Boy Wonder himself Pete Rock.

I’m going to take you down memory lane, to some classic tracks and one classic babe: Mya. Although she’s still kickin’ it I first got up on her steez in the late ’90s when Ghetto Superstar featuring ODB and Pras came out. The new cover art for Shwayze’s second and newest album “Let It Beat” was unveiled this week. From the looks of it it’s like a female mannequin stereo system. Not sure what that’s about?

The featured song on the album will be the already released single “Get U Home.” Other songs will be “Livin’ It Up” that’ll feature Snoop Dogg and “Rock N Roll that features Kanye West. Personally I don’t believe that it’s him. I’ve seen more convincing photos of Tupac standing next to 50 Cent. This one just looks like a good look alike.
