Though he didn’t take home anything at the BET Awards he did manage to steal the spotlight during the ‘take you picture in front of some photographers before the show event.’ Him and girlfriend/model Amber Rose chose to be colour co-ordinated for the Awards show.

Kanye West was on The View yesterday morning June 10, 2009. He basically just talked about the making of his latest album 808s & Heartbreak and how it was made as a distraction over the recent and sudden death of his mother.

Any of you watch American Idol this season? The winner of the show was the very shy Kris Allen from Conway, Arkansas. Well, his version was impressive. After finishing, judge Simon Cowell said that his rendition was better than the original. I don’t think Kanye West was insulted by the comment because after the season ended he called to congratulate him on his win and rendition of his song.

No word yet if the two are going to try and make a song together but it might be in the works.

It was a surprise to learn that Rihanna stared in the new music video for Kanye West’s “Paranoid”. But it has become an even bigger surprise that the two have been seen hanging out all too frequently.

In this picture they were seen in the same group together at at an even in Paris, France on March 2, 2009. Even more recently Rihanna and friends were seen entering into the pad of Kanye in Manhattan, New York.

Could the two be just friends? Most likely, Kanye and Beyonce were quite the buddy buddy for a while when he was going through the recent death of his mother. Now Kanye seems to be paying it forward by getting Rihanna back into things as she gets over her abusive relationship with Chris Brown.

Kanye West just filmed his music video for “Paranoid” in Hawaii and he featured Rihanna as the main character. That’s right Rihanna is back to being a star again. She helped Kanye make this video and even made a remix of the song that should be released later this year.

Hey guys! The nominees for the 2009 BET Awards have finally been announced and we’ve got some great people up for awards this year. The usual suspects are doing pretty well. We’ve got Kanye West, T.I. and Lil Wayne getting a good amount of nominations.

New artist, Jazmine Sullivan, is also doing pretty well for herself, being nominated in three categories. Beyoncé’s got a good amount as well. Check out the list and let me know if you have any predictions. It’s a pretty tight competition for Best Male Hip Hop Artist. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens!

If being a top selling artist wasn’t enough, Kanye West has decided to break new ground by being an author.

Not exactly a newbie to writing, Kanye West has co-authored his book “Thank You and You’re Welcome” with J. Sakiya Sandifer. The book promises to be an insightful look at Kanye and his personal philosophies. Kanye claims that the way he thinks has helped shape who he is, crediting his personal achievements on its principles.

The video for “Gifted” is kind of one the more trippy side of things. The song is by N.A.S.A is featuring Kanye West, Santogold and Lykke Li and is off of N.A.S.A.’s album “The Spirit of Apollo.” If you’re scratching your head about Lykke Li, she’s and indie rock singer from Sweden.

The song’s cool. It’s got a futuristic type of vibe to it and the beat’s not bad at all.  Watch the video below!

A new music video is out from Kanye West’s best friend and fellow rapper GLC (Gangsta L. Crisis). The Big Screen features Kanye West and is set in a 1930 club. Not exactly sure what the song is about but the sound is okay.
