It wasn’t added to the released songs on Jay-Z’s new The Blueprint 3 album but it was released by Mr Hudson who was featured in the song. The song is basically the 80’s song “Forever Young” with Jay-Z adding his own feel to it.

The Black Eyed Peas are scheduled to hold their first ever non-Muslim only concert in Malaysia. Now hold on, before you all go hatin’ on the Black Eyed let me just say that the discrimination comes from the government of Malaysia.

Malaysia is predominantly Muslim state but because they are becoming increasingly global they are having to make acceptions to other countries culture habits. They banned Avril Lavigne in the past for being to sexy and now they almost banned the Black Eyed Peas for being sponsored by Guinness a beer company from Ireland. The Muslim country of Malaysia have laws against endorsements by alcohol companies so they were forced to only allow non-Muslims the chance to attend the concert. Naturally Muslims will go and see Fergie and the group but at least the Peas won’t be held responsible if any of them get caned for it.

50 Cent was scheduled to perform at a street fair in his old neighborhood of Queens, New York on Sunday but has canceled amidst security concerns.

The police in Queens have asked 50 Cent to stay home as they are concerned about the lack of security at the “Family Day” block party. Rappers always seem to attract the wrong kind of attention at outdoor events, especially one’s that take place in their old neighborhood. It could be that fellow past gang members are jealous and want revenge or for whatever reason.

It’s just too bad that a few crazies have to ruin the party for everyone who looked forward to seeing their local star perform.

Ja Rule did more than just serenade his fans in Sydney, Australia – he also made them duck and cover! The 33 year old rapper was in the Land Down Under to perform at a outdoor concert this Saturday. After spending time doing an interview on the radio show Nova 969, Ja Rule was invited to take a spin in the hosts new sports car. I guess someone forgot to mention that in Australia they drive on the opposite side of the road, so Ja Rule ended up disturbing traffic and frightening a few locals.

On the Los Angeles Power 106 radio station interview last week Lil Wayne (Dwayne Carter) finally admitted that he has two babies on the way. It was always rumoured that the beautiful Lauren London was pregnant with a little Carter but nothing confirmed. Lil Wayne confirmed the rumor and announced that his on again off again girlfriend Nivea is also pregnant with his child.

Known for being a party city in France, St. Tropez was the scene of a party that included Snoop Dogg. He let loose on the French Riviera port city after performing at the VIP room. Apparently he wasn’t just dancing solo either. An affectionate local was seen luring Snoop Dogg on the dance floor amidst martini’s and music. Ah, I think someone should remind Snoop Dogg that he has wife and kids back in the U.S.A.

Mary J. Blige and the producers of a new film called “More Than A Game” have teamed up to create the lead song for the film. After careful collaboration Mary J. Blige decided to put her song “Stronger” out there.

The songs great but I think that it will be this new movie that will take the critics by storm. The film follow these young men as they prepare to play in the nationals with their high school basketball team. The hopes, dreams and aspirations are there for all to see.

Everyone seems to be a rapper these days. Some looking for a free ride, other to showcase their talent and get their music out there. Underground music is a great place to find these talented young artists. Take the new Roccett for example, born and raised in Carson, California he knows how to hustle for money.

It’s not huge news that a hip-hop celebrity bought a new sports car. It happens every day. These guys are helping the auto industry in these tough economic times I guess. Or maybe they are buying them because they are going for dirt cheap. Either way the car was nice and it attracted the paparazzi when he pulled up in front of the Waverly Inn in Los Angeles on the hot night of August 19th.

Jay-Z’s newest single now has a music video. His song “Run This Town” features Rihanna and Kanye West and has made it to third place on the Billboard Top 100 list. The Blueprint 3 album is scheduled to be released on September 11, 2009.

The video is a sort of post-apocalyptic or something. Reminds me a little of Tupac’s “California Love.” I couldn’t get the video to show you here but go ahead and watch the “Making of Run This Town.” You can see the real music video here.
