Jamie Foxx Performs On American Idol
Jamie Foxx was on American Idol last night April 30, 2009. He performed his song Blame It with a highly digitized voice over to the hundreds of screaming fans.
Foxx was on the show because he was helping the final contestants of the show perfect their performances. The music genre of the week was blues. I guess because Foxx did that whole Ray thing he was an obvious choice for the task. Anyways check out his performance below.

Jamie Foxx: “Just Like Me” – Music Video
April 30, 2009 by Jyle
Time for a little blast from the past with Jamie Foxx’s music video “Just Like Me.” Not sure what the video is about. I mean the video doesn’t seem to convey the songs lyrics at all.
In more recent news Jamie Foxx performed on The Tyra Show this morning and was the guest mentor for the finalists on American Idol last night. It seems like Jamie is getting around to help boost his image again after his little Miley incident.

Kid Cudi “Day ‘N Night” – Music Video
April 30, 2009 by Jyle
Have you guys seen the music video for Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N Night” video? This is his first released solo and is off of his debut album “Man on the Moon: The
Guardians.” It’s not sure when he’ll be releasing the album, but he says we should expect it in the summer of 2009.
The single is pretty hot on the charts right now and it’s currently at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. I’ve got the video for you here, below. The song has a nice, smooth sound to it and I like that it’s different than some of the hip hop songs we’ve been hearing lately. The lyrics are pretty well thought out. The video…well…it’s interesting. Check it out for yourself.

If being a top selling artist wasn’t enough, Kanye West has decided to break new ground by being an author.
Thank You and You’re Welcome – Kanye West
Not exactly a newbie to writing, Kanye West has co-authored his book “Thank You and You’re Welcome” with J. Sakiya Sandifer. The book promises to be an insightful look at Kanye and his personal philosophies. Kanye claims that the way he thinks has helped shape who he is, crediting his personal achievements on its principles.

TMZ Reports Tupac Found
April 29, 2009 by Jyle
The celebrity sleeze news outlet TMZ (can you tell I don’t like them) has reported (they will report anything) that Tupac Shakur has been found.
He was supposedly spotted in a bar on Bourbon Street, New Orleans. See the pictures here.
Personally I don’t believe that it’s him. I’ve seen more convincing photos of Tupac standing next to 50 Cent. This one just looks like a good look alike. Besides, if you faked your death, would you be looking the same years later? If Tupak was alive I would imagine that he would have changed his appearance completely.

Lil Wayne Attends University of Phoenix
April 29, 2009 by Jyle
What degree is Lil Wayne working towards at the University of Phoenix? Lil Wayne was interviewed by The View panel last week. During the interview he mentioned that because he started making money at an early age he was pulled out to focus on his career.
Wayne, who was a straight A student got his GED but has now gone back to University to finish his degree.
Because conventional Universities wouldn’t cut it, Lil Wayne opted for the University of Phoenix because they specialise in distance education (meaning that you could finish an accredited degree through correspondence).
I also did my degree through correspondence but at Athabasca University. Both schools are similar and offer well respected Business degree’s.

Lil Wayne Interview On The View: April 24
Lil Wayne was on The View last Friday April 24 to add his flavour to the all female opinion panel. Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked Lil Wayne if he was indeed addicted to cough syrup and weed. To which he responded “I depend on god and motivation.”
Well that didn’t quite answer the question so he told the panel that he loves to smoke weed and is not addicted to either substance. Interesting though that marijuana (a non addictive substance) is illegal but cough syrup (highly addictive) isn’t, despite containing promethazine or codeine.

Will.i.am Acting Debut in Wolverine
April 27, 2009 by Jyle
Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas will be in the upcoming blockbuster film Wolverine. A prequel to the X-Men movies, Wolverine tells the story before the X-Men team got together.
Will.i.am will be playing John Wraith, a teleportation mutant. Not a far stretch since he was teleported to comment on CNN during the 2009 Presidential Elections.
This will be Will.i.am’s first acting role so go out and support Wolverine for his sake. Check out the Wolverine trailer with John Wraith (Will.i.am) below.
