2 Songs to Add To Your iPod Today
I’m in love with Wyclef Jean’s latest album Carnival II:Memoirs of an Immigrant so naturally I would have to insist that all of you have at least these two songs on your iPod.
Usher – Chris Brown Will "Follow the Same Path"
Usher, well respected R&B artist, had some nice things to say about hip hopster, Chris Brown. Usher thinks that Chris Brown’s future will be similar to the way Usher’s success went.
“All of this young energy is great for the industry. Chris is the guy who dances and sings, which is a lot like I do and did as a young artist as well. If time serves us correctly, and artists are continuing to better themselves, then hopefully he’ll follow the same path that I did.”
This may come as a compliment coming from someone as successful as he. Usher, now 29, was 15 years old when he released his debut album, and has been successful ever since. His newest song, “Love in this Club” has been on Billboard’s Top Ten singles charts for weeks and has peaked at the no. 1 spot.
Well, both of these men seem like they hope to follow Michael Jackson’s path because so much of their style seems inspired by him. What do you think? Will Chris Brown follow in Usher’s footsteps? Hopefully, Chris Brown will do well and we’ll see much, much more from him.

Papoose Being Sued Over "Ambulance" Video
April 29, 2008 by Jyle
Wow. It’s hard out here for pimp. Rapper Papoose is being sued after reportedly tricking an ambulance crew into being in his video for “Ambulance”. Rocky Robinson, founder of the Bed-Stuy Volunteer Ambulance Corporation said that they were tricked into appearing in his video.
“His people told us the video would be about the neighborhood and how we respond to save lives. We don’t want to be a part of something where somebody gets hurt.”
Robinson said that he will be filing a law suit and added that Papoose “probably hasn’t got much, but we’ll sue anyway. Our image is everything to us.”
What a mess. Do you think Papoose should be sued? I’ll let you see the video for “Ambulance” shown below.

Flo Rida Talks About Success and Melissa Ford Rumors
April 28, 2008 by Jyle
After his tremendous recent success and making history by selling 470,000 digital units in one week for his track “Low“, Flo Rida had a few things to say about it.
“To have an album out for the first time and to have it do so well, and prior to that getting like over four-and-half million ringtones sold, it was just unbelievable, a dream come true,” Flo Rida said. “It definitely let me know prayer changes things.”
When his sister passed away when he was 15 years old, Flo Rida said it gave him inspiration to work hard and stay focused.
“I recall my sister passing away and I was just like, Wow, you got to take advantage of every day,” he recalls. “I was like if I was going to do music that’s what I was going to stick to. There was really no plan B. I always just kept my eye on the prize, stayed focused and patient.”
His next single, “In The Air,” features will.i.am, and will hopefully do as well as “Low”.
